Enhanced Heating & Air Conditioning recently completed a ductless mini-split installation for a homeowner in Newark, Delaware who needed a better way to cool three second-floor rooms. Like many two-story homes, the upper level experienced uneven temperatures during the summer months, making it difficult to keep bedrooms comfortable without overworking the existing central HVAC system.
To solve the problem, our team installed a high-efficiency Guardian ductless mini-split system designed to provide targeted comfort exactly where it was needed. The project included the installation of a wall-mounted indoor air handler in the upstairs living space and a matching outdoor condenser unit positioned alongside the home. Refrigerant lines and electrical connections were carefully routed along the exterior wall using protective line-hide covers, creating a clean and professional appearance while protecting the system components.
The new ductless system now delivers quiet, energy-efficient cooling directly to the second-floor rooms without requiring major modifications to the home’s existing ductwork. Because mini-splits allow for precise temperature control, the homeowner can maintain a comfortable environment upstairs while potentially reducing energy consumption compared to relying solely on the central air conditioning system.
The finished installation blends neatly with both the interior and exterior of the home, providing year-round comfort and improved temperature consistency where it matters most. This project is another example of how Enhanced Heating & Air Conditioning helps Delaware homeowners solve challenging comfort issues with modern, efficient HVAC solutions.
